Sally and Sallie,

First of all, if you’re writing about style—work on your WRITING STYLE. Maybe you should submit your article to professor DiPasquale for suggestions first. Come on, we all took English classes to get into Whitman. And you say you’re going to be the “Star Magazine of Whitman College,” wow, what a magazine to aspire to. Gucci and Rock & Republic would be proud to be advocated by such a classy publication. Your suggestions are unjust criticisms that demean diversity on campus. Fashion and style is a reflection of people’s personality and is not supposed to be all about wearing designer brands. If you think just wearing designer brands is fashion, then you are limiting the definition of style. Whitman may be too “granola” but you sound like you fell out of a “fucking teen movie.”

Have fun dry-cleaning your designer jeans,

Carrie, and Carry, and Kerrie, and Kerry, and Carie, and Cary, and Kerie, and Kery
