Diagnosing Whitman

IM athletes in pursuit of the illustrious blue shirt often sacrifice personal safety in the name of intramural glory, many inevitably finding themselves at the Welty Health Center for the treatment of injuries. Considering the prominence of intramural and club competition on campus, how does the health center’s care of these students compare with that of varsity athletes? This week feature takes the temperature of students regarding  misconceptions about medical services, new initiatives to provide more athletic trainers, and student satisfaction with the treatment provided.
